 ABOUT THE RIDE

The Big Red Ride Sydney is not a race, rather a cycling challenge traversing the Sydney basin from Bondi Beach through Richmond, where there is an option to finish, and then on to the Blue Mountains.

THE TOUGHEST ONE DAY RIDE OUT OF SYDNEY

Remember - the route is tough, with cyclists who continue on for the final 65km from Richmond to Katoomba enduring a 1000 metre climb that will test the leg muscles of the most seasoned cyclist.

The ride is limited to 150 participants, who will be divided into groups of no more than 20 riders according to experience and ability. Each group will stay together for the duration of the ride, with a ride leader and support vehicle providing assistance and ensuring the safety of the riders.
