Carolyn's Little Big Red Ride!
Story
On Sunday 6th November, I am leading a convoy of wheelies to take part in the Little Big Red Ride! This is to raise much needed funds for the Muscular Dystrophy NSW Kids for Life program which provides sport & recreation, camps, wheelchairs and counselling for kids with MD. All the stuff that helped me when I was a kid.
Me and my little convoy of wheelie kids will be starting at Parramatta Leagues with a Brekkie BBQ kindly supported by the Parramatta Eels Leagues Club. We will then set off for a circuit around Parramatta Park and board a train at Westmead travelling to Richmond where we will cheer in all the Big Red Ride cyclists who have cycled from Bondi! We hope to give the riders some motivation to climb the big hill to Katoomba. It is going to be a really special and fun day! Perhaps we have some up and coming Paralympians in our convoy??!!
It would be wonderful if you could support my efforts by making a secure donation to this great charity. So many of its great programs are not being funded by this NDIS and families are at risk of missing out unless we can raise more $$$.

Muscular Dystrophy is the name of one of more than 75 different types of neuromuscular conditions. There are more than 40,000 people in Australia who have some form of neuromuscular condition, 13,000 of whom live in NSW.
